Number of Classes Expected per Week
Ballet is the foundation of dance idioms and additional diverse training in other forms of dance should be considered. Ballet I - IV students study classical ballet one day per week. Ballet V - Intermediate students study classical ballet two to three days per week, plus pointe or pre-pointe. Pre-professional division students are required to study ballet a minimum of three days per week, plus pointe, with additional classes in modern dance. Students who aspire to a professional dance career need to study ballet on a daily basis.
Private lessons are arranged with the Director.
Strict DRESS CODE for BALLET CLASSES
Female students wear pink tights, pink ballet slippers and selected leotard in the color according to class levels. Skirts may be worn for Pointe and Variation classes. Hair is to be worn off the face and fastened in a bun. Leotards are available for order in Academy’s Dance & Theatrical Supplies.

Tuition Policies
By enrolling in a class, you are financially obligated the entire semester, Sept. 3 to Dec. 10, 2008. The first payment is due at the time of registration. Students taking only one class pay half at registration, and the balance is due on or before the week of October 26. Ballet Levels IV and up pay monthly.
Students taking multiple classes or families with more than one student may make four monthly payments. The first 25% is due at registration, with additional payments of 25% due by Oct 15, Nov 15 and Dec 15, 2008. You will not be invoiced for these payments, so please note them in your calendar!
Please make your payments on time. If you must be late, please advise our office. Late payments without advising our office will be charged $15 ($1 - $200), $20 ($201 - $400) and $25 ($401+).
Tuition fees are not refundable except in the case of serious injury or illness. A doctor’s letter is required for verification.

The Academy offers full-time students a limited number of Work-Study Programs for female and male students. Additional Scholarships are available for talented male students with a minimum age of 13 at the Intermediate level in ballet.
